My Story
I am not a doctor and I do not make any claims to be able to medically treat any condition. I am simply a lifetime headache and migraine sufferer who has walked in the same shoes as you, shared similar frustrations, and looked for answers. I began experiencing chronic migraines and reoccurring tension headaches seriously for the first time in my mid twenties.
Like you, I have struggled to have my condition diagnosed let alone treated. Most commonly I have been told that the headaches were something I would have to simply endure, not something that could be treated. I have received recommendations to try thinking positively, look for “healthier” ways to deal with stress, told to try resting with ice packs, or a walk out in the fresh air. All the while I lived with sometimes near daily migraines for months at a time.
I lived with migraines for years before I realized that I could take the responsibility for my health in my own hands. At this point I began to research the cause of my problems in earnest and this is what I wish to share with you so hopefully you do not waste as much time as I have.
My goal in writing this book is to communicate first and foremost that you are not alone and there are options for you to explore. Whether you are a long time migraine sufferer or someone experiencing headaches for this first time this book will show you how to figure out exactly what kind of headache or headaches you are experiencing, all the possible science based reasons you may be afflicted with this condition, current up to date treatment options and preventative measures (including natural and alternative medicine,) how to know a scam treatment when you see one WITHOUT wasting your time and money, and how and when to talk with your doctor.
